Before I met my friend Megan (Bowtiful Life) I had absolutely no idea what Kendra Scott was which is pretty embarrassing. My sister and her friends would talk nonstop about how much they loved Kendra and her classic style jewelry and I felt completely out of the loop! Luckily, I was able to experience the brand firsthand when I hosted a Color Bar Party.
So what exactly is a Color Bar Party? I'm glad you asked. The lovely ladies at Kendra Scott invited me and a few of my friends (yes, I brought my mom) for a night of shopping at the 900 North Michigan Shops. Megan led our party and walked us through how to use the Color Bar. She showed us essentially the giant electronic jewelry display that allowed us to customize our own pieces of jewelry, everything from the style, color, and stone!
There were so many options to choose from but since I’m a Kendra newbie I went with a simple Teo pendant necklace with a Platinum Drusy stone. What I love about this piece is that it can be adjusted to a shorter length which makes it extremely versatile.
I brought along my sister, Katie, my mom and friend Beth for the festivities. Each went home with a little gift since each person who attended received 15% off their purchase! Katie got a pair of gorgeous earrings that she's wearing for her wedding in the Fall. They are so stunning! My mom and Beth, on the other hand, went with simple pendant necklaces with their choice of stone.
it was nice to feel as though we were getting a very personalized shopping experience. It honestly made the whole party that much better! All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful, they walked around the store and made sure to answer any of our questions.
